Description:
This manuscript was most likely written by Isaac (Itzik) Offenbach in Cologne, containing Akdamut Milin, the liturgical poem (piyyut) in Aramaic which introduces the Ten Commandments during the reading of the Torah. It is recited by Ashkenazi Jews on Shavuot. Full text-underlay in Hebrew block printing and handwriting. The akdamut milin composition is for one or two voices (soprano). It also contains nineteen measures of an untitled fragment for one voice.
