Pesach, Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur, Hazzan & Meshorerim
Description:
This manuscript contains five items for Passover and the High Holidays. The item is autographed by Juda, which Birnbaum considered could possibly be Juda Stettenheim of Koblenz. Adler gives reasons why he has come to the conclusion that this manuscript material is more likely by Juda of Herzfeld by comparing it to other items in the collection. Juda Herzfeld is also mentioned as the composer of the first and third items. These pieces are mainly for one voice, sometimes two, written for Passover and the High Holidays. These pieces have ḥazzan/meshorerim designations as well.
