Pesach, Choral Music
A collection of three pieces, likely compiled by Birnbaum himself. This compilation contains Hebraische Sange by A.P Berggreen; Psalmi Davidici by Arvidson, and Accente, adapted from Guillaume André Villoteau’s Description de l’Égypte. The Hebraische Sange are arranged for soprano, alto, tenor and bass. Arvidson’s piece for treble soloist is dated 1706 and the provenance is given as Stockholm. The Villoteau is written for bass soloist, and this adaptation contains notes on pronunciation in French.
