These manuscripts contain sixty-three items, composed of fragments of music for the High Holidays mainly for one voice. The folios are unbound and are of multiple sizes. The compilation of the pieces is attributed to S.J. Friede. Item sixty-three contains incipits numbered 1-38, with the superscription(s) of composers, transmitters, titles and annotations. Only the forty-seventh, sixtieth and sixty-first items are written out compositions. This folder also contains a print version of the Tenor 2 part of “Psalm 128” by Eduard Birnbaum.
